FarmFest is an annual fundraiser music festival held in Pawcatuck, CT. This treasured community event features local Connecticut music acts, vendors, food, and fun outdoor events for the whole family! FarmFest 2025 will be the 4th iteration of the festival. We have continued to expand each year, and this year we are hoping to feature even more vendors and attract even more support from the local community! Last year we hosted almost 300 people and raised enough to donate over $8,000 to the PACS2 Research Foundation, our target charity. This year, we will be donating proceeds to the Amyloidosis Research Center at Boston University, a leading research center in studying amyloidosis. We are donating to this organization in support of a member of the FarmFest community who has been afflicted with this disease and knows the challenges that come along with it. Amyloidosis is a disease that targets the functioning of the organs, and can lead to their degeneration and destruction. Chemotherapy has been found to be somewhat effective as a treatment, but more research is required to better understand, identify, and treat this affliction. With the help of sponsors, individual donators, and attendees, on August 9th we hope to raise as much as possible to support this cause and assist in funding the necessary research to combat it.
