The Connecticut Symphonic Winds invites you to a very special concert with guest conductor, Johan de Meij in an evening program of his compositions for symphonic winds.

World-renowned as composer and conductor de Meij’s award-winning compositions, symphonic transcriptions and film score arrangements has garnered him international acclaim and have become permanent fixtures in the repertoire of renowned ensembles throughout the world.,

This concert includes his works, Loch Ness, Spring, Suite to the Soundtrack of Henry V and his Symphony No. 4 Sinfonie der Lieder for Mezzo-Soprano, Choir and Wind Orchestra as well as other works.
