April is National Volunteer Month! According to the Mayo Clinic Health System, research has shown that volunteering offers significant health benefits, including:

Improves physical and mental health
Provides a sense of purpose and teaches valuable skills
Nurtures new and existing relationships

On Saturday, April 5, the library is hosting over 20 local organizations and service clubs. All ages are invited to join us between 10 am and 1 pm to learn more about volunteer opportunities for teens and adults.

No registration is required to attend. There will be free refreshments.
