What is a community sing?
It’s an event where all are welcome to sing together, regardless of music experience. Whether you are a car stereo karaoke star, or have sung in choir before, there is a spot for you. No experience necessary!

MHS music teacher Josh Cushing will teach melodies and harmonies to the group that have been arranged especially for this come-as-you-are choir. This time around, we have some '90s pop and R&B ready for you!

Why is there a community sing?
1. Research indicates group singing improves quality of life for all humans, but…
2. Group singing is no longer a common activity in our daily lives. So...
3. MHS Choir hosts community sings every semester to provide an opportunity to sing and connect with our neighbors through music.
