Bruce Ho, Senior Advisor, Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) will speak at the April Humanists and Freethinkers of Fairfield County (HFFC) meeting about offshore wind power in Connecticut. With two projects underway and two more planned, Connecticut ranks among the top ten states nationwide for offshore wind power development. Come to the Monday, April 10th meeting to learn more.

Before his post at Connecticut DEEP, Ho was a senior climate and clean energy advocate at the National Resources Defense Council.

This program on environmental stewardship is in honor of Earth Day, which humanists would suggest should be every day. Humanists support sustainable activities, legislation, and actions to mitigate climate change, conserve energy, reduce pollution, and protect animal and plant life.
