Lyle Gittens and his wife, Eleanor Gittens, hold the Guinness World Record for the oldest living married couple. Their love story began in college in 1939. More than eight decades later, their love is still going strong. Lyle is 108 and Eleanor is 107.

Ahead of Valentine’s Day in 2026, their daughter Angela interviewed them in their Miami home, where Eleanor spoke from her wheelchair, and Lyle from his bed.
