Why Kansas City Has Become A Soccer Hotbed

As Major League Baseball awaits a list of names of players facing suspension for their involvement with performing enhancing drugs, Major League Soccer holds its All-Star Game tonight.

The league’s best players take on Italy’s A.S. Roma at Sporting Park in Kansas City, Kansas.

It’s tough to get a ticket for the match. And the same can be said for Sporting Kansas City’s regular season games. The team is on a string of 27 straight sellouts of their world-class stadium that holds nearly 19,000.
