Unemployment in Connecticut

Connecticut’s latest job numbers show that the state added 6,500 jobs in July but lags the nation in pandemic job recovery.

The Connecticut Department of Labor has released the state’s May job numbers. They show that 1,600 jobs were added, and the state’s unemployment rate has fallen to 4.2%.
