LA FOLLIA is a melody that dates back at least to the 15th century, and countless composers since have composed their own versions of and variations on it.

Today's Beautiful Music is a concert performance of Arcangelo Corelli's setting of LA FOLIA, performed by violinist Olivier Brault with The Four Nations Ensemble.

Suzanne Bona is the host and executive producer of Sunday Baroque, a nationally syndicated weekly radio show of Baroque and early music which she originated on WSHU in 1987.
