How Alexander Markov Inspires Young Musicians

Violin virtuoso Alexander Markov makes several presentations a year at schools in Fairfield County, Connecticut.  The kids are always impressed when he takes out his gold-plated electric violin.  Kate Remington talked with Alex about how he inspires young musicians, and about his upcoming concert at Carnegie Hall on June 5th.

Born in Madison, Wisconsin, Kate Remington joined WSHU in December of 2000, and she's been WSHU's Music Director since 2002.
