ASRC CT Walk for Autism & Resource Fair 2024
On May 19th, Autism Services & Resources Connecticut, Inc. (ASRC) will hold their annual Walk for Autism and Resource Fair at Quinnipiac University’s North Haven Campus.
Organizations such as Middletown’s, Collaborative ABA Services, will be participating as a sponsor and will have an exhibitor table at the event. Collaborative ABA Services, LLC is an accredited behavioral health practice that specializes in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy. Services are provided to children ages 2-18 and their families impacted by Autism and other developmental or behavioral disorders.
Collaborative ABA Services, LLC utilizes an interdisciplinary approach to treatment providing an array of services including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy, Parent/Caregiver Trainings, Community Trainings, Social Skills Groups, Diagnostic Evaluations for Autism, Case Management, Consultations, Occupational Therapy, and Speech and Language Therapy.
The Walk and Resource Fair are also a GREAT opportunity to learn from multiple organizations in the autism community about resources, social groups, transition options, and pathways to employment.
Walk registration opens at 8:00 am and the Walk will begin at 10:00 am. The Resource Fair will be open from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm. Quinnipiac University's North Haven campus is centrally located on the I-91 corrider with easy access from exit 12 N & S as well as the Merrit Parkway and provides ample space, with easy access from main highways. 100% of funds raised stay in Connecticut to support Connecticut residents living with autism. As the original Walk for Autism, over 30,000 families, individuals, professionals, school personnel, and service providers have walked in the CT Walk for Autism since its inception. Last year we had over 2,000 walkers gathered together, spreading awareness for the great need for services and resources for families! This is a great opportunity for community building, networking and making new friends!
