Monarchies bankrolled a significant amount of baroque era music. And a few royals like Princess Wilhelmine in the 18th century, were hands-on music lovers who composed music themselves! You’ll hear one of Princess Wilhelmine’s Flute Sonatas this weekend on Sunday Baroque, starting at 7 a.m. on 91.1 FM, 107.5 FM, and our all classical stream, and at 10 a.m. on 89.9 FM.

Suzanne Bona is the host and executive producer of Sunday Baroque, a nationally syndicated weekly radio show of Baroque and early music which she originated on WSHU in 1987.
