Musicals at Richter (MAR), now in its 39th season as the longest-running outdoor theater in Connecticut, will hold auditions for its 2023 productions April 12-14 at Richter House Arts Center, 100 Aunt Hack Road, in Danbury, CT (adjacent to Richter Park Golf Course, just off I-84, exit 2).

The main stage musical season includes “The Addams Family” (July 7-22) directed by Skip Ploss and “The Music Man” (July 28-August 12) directed by David Halliwell. Diverse, multiethnic casts are sought for each show.

Open auditions for high school (16 and up), college and adult performers will be held Wednesday, April 12 and Thursday, April 13 from 7-10 PM and Friday, April 14 from 8-10 PM. Younger performers (ages 7-15) will be seen Friday, April 14 from 6-8 PM for Pugsley in “The Addams Family,” Amaryllis and Winthrop in “The Music Man,” and featured youth ensemble roles in “The Music Man.”
