The New Yorker Radio Hour

WSHU is proud to present The New Yorker Radio Hour beginning September 2!

The New Yorker magazine has set a standard in literary journalism for generations, and The New Yorker Radio Hour gives it a voice on public radio for the first time.

David Remnick, the editor of The New Yorker, is joined by the magazine’s award-winning writers in a weekly hour of radio that will both delight and inform. Hear profiles of interesting people, compelling storytelling, and insightful conversations about the issues that matter – plus an occasional blast of comic genius from the magazine's legendary Shouts and Murmurs page.

Hear The New Yorker Radio Hour on Saturdays at 10 a.m., on 91.1 WSHU89.9 WSUF103.3 WQQQ, 1260 WSHU and 1340 WYBC. And on Sundays at 3 p.m. on 89.9 WSUF103.3 WQQQ, 1260 WSHU and 1340 WYBC.*

The New Yorker Radio Hour on WSHU is made possible by the generous support of Luisa Francoeur and Jim Goodrich.

*The New Yorker Radio Hour is replacing The Best of Car Talk, which is ending its successful five-year run. Click and Clack fans, don't despair! If you need a chuckle or a tip on fuel injectors – you can listen to old shows at cartalk.com
