Stamford Symphony Presents a Daughter's Moving Tribute

Eckart Preu, The Stamford Symphony's Music Director, says young British composer, Anna Clyne is going to be someone to watch in the future.  Saturday, Nov 9th, and Sunday, Nov 10th, the Orchestra is presenting Clyne's moving tribute to her mother, "Within her Arms" for strings.  Kate Remington spoke with Eckart Preu about this haunting piece, and other music on the program.

    

Born in Madison, Wisconsin, Kate Remington joined WSHU in December of 2000, and she's been WSHU's Music Director since 2002.
