Two Neo-Classic Masterworks

Two Neo-Classic Masterworks

We are thrilled to announce an upcoming concert featuring two stunning works of choral music: Kodály's Missa Brevis and Poulenc's Gloria, performed by the Fairfield County Chorale directed by Maestro David Rosenmeyer, soloists Inna Dukash, Malena Dayen, Pedro Sequera, and Christopher Lau.

Kodály's Missa Brevis is a powerful and moving piece showcasing the composer's skill in choral writing and his knowledge of Hungarian folk music. The piece celebrates the Catholic mass, and its soaring melodies and rich harmonies are sure to captivate audiences.

Poulenc's Gloria is a dynamic and exhilarating work that combines elements of traditional sacred music with Poulenc's unique style. The piece is known for its lush harmonies and striking contrasts, and it will leave a lasting impression on all who hear it.

Don't miss your chance to experience the transcendent beauty of these two incredible pieces of choral music.
