The Best Darn Jazz Club in Danbury

The Best Darn Jazz Club in Danbury
We are excited to announce our upcoming Best Darn Jazz Club in Danbury (BDJC) on Friday, October 7 from 8 to 10 p.m. in the Wolves Den in the basement of the Midtown Student Center. The BDJC is always free to our students, faculty, staff and alumni. It Is also open to the general public so anyone can invite family and friends. There is no cost to non-WCSU people although donations are welcome. Light snacks and a cash bar with wine and beer for those 21 and over. Quite frankly, the Wolves Den is set up just like a jazz club in the City with café tables, table cloths and candles, low lighting, intimate atmosphere – in general a feel as if you are at an off-campus club. There will be two terrific jazz groups performing. The first is the Jesse Parker Trio with Jesse Parker on drums, Elisee Ngbo on piano, and Clayton Thompson on bass. The second group is the Elliott Moberly-Lachance Quartet with Elliott Mobley-Lachance on guitar, Marcel Paige on tenor saxophone, Matthew Munzner on bass and Elijah Atkins on drums.
