"Belgian Chocolate: Romantic Rhapsodies for Violin & Piano"

"Belgian Chocolate: Romantic Rhapsodies for Violin & Piano"

Violinist Katie Lansdale and pianist Marija Stroke will celebrate Belgian romanticism and its influences at this pre-Valentine's Day concert at Fairfield Public Library. Selections will include Cesar Franck's famous "Violin Sonata" for piano and violin, pieces by Claude Debussy and Lili Boulanger, and Eugene Ysaye's incomparable "Ballade" for solo violin. A reception will follow the concert, with light refreshments and a chance to meet the musicians.

This concert is part of the Library's "Soundwaves" series, made possible by the generosity of the Friends of Fairfield Public Library.
