Beatrix Farrand was a trailblazing woman who established a successful landscape architecture business in 1895. Starting out in a humble home office, her talent and vision led her to create stunning campus landscapes for prestigious universities, homes and estates. As Edith Wharton's niece, Beatrix and Edith together worked on Wharton's garden at the Mount in Lennox, Massachusetts.
