The Letter Box: “The Cuban Missile Crisis”

Join us for the pilot taping of The Letter Box, WSHU Public Radio’s first original storytelling program. This extraordinary new show brings leading actors to the stage as they table read some of history’s most fascinating letters and personal communications.

Entitled “The Cuban Missile Crisis,” the premiere episode of The Letter Box gives the audience a seat at the table as U.S. President John F. Kennedy, Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev, and Cuban Prime Minister Fidel Castro communicate before, during, and after the infamous crisis that nearly brought the world to nuclear annihilation.

The pilot will premiere as a live taping event which will be recorded for later broadcast on WSHU.
