Here is an update on the coronavirus in the region:
Starting Wednesday, New York will require travelers from all non-neighboring states to get a coronavirus test before, and potentially after, they arrive in the state in order to avoid a 14-day quarantine.
New York’s positive test rate is 1.5% — down to 1.36% if so-called “hot zones” are excluded. This is the third lowest positive test rate in the country. Connecticut’s positive test rate has dropped to 2.5% after spiking last week.
