At least 100 people suffered minor injuries when a Long Island Rail Road train crashed into the “bumper block” at the Atlantic Terminal in Brooklyn on Wednesday. The train from Far Rockaway hit and then went over the bumper at the end of Track 6 at about 8:20 a.m.

Long Island Bike Path Plan Moving Forward

A long-standing plan to convert the abandoned Long Island Rail Road line between Port Jefferson and Wading River into a bike trail is finally moving forward. On Tuesday Congressman Lee Zeldin, R-NY1, announced that 80 percent of the $9.5 million dollar project will be federally funded.

Biden Joins Cuomo At Groundbreaking For 'New' LaGuardia

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo was joined by Vice President Joe Biden at a groundbreaking ceremony for the so-called “new” LaGuardia Airport.

Biden had famously compared LaGuardia to an airport in a third world country, but now he’s congratulating Cuomo for shepherding the $7 billion project.
