Years of fan requests for the Gordy Haab's award-winning soundtracks for Star Wars: Battlefront I and II have finally paid off, with official releases by Walt Disney Records on January 29 and February 5, 2021.  Gordy says it was always his hope to have official soundtracks, and he created suites from the themes in each game, which had been stored on a hard drive waiting until the time was right.

Star Wars: Squadrons, created by Motive Studios and published by Electronic Arts, gives players the  authentic thrill of piloting an Imperial or New Republic ship for missions that extend the story beyond the Battle of Endor. Composer Gordy Haab says he was thrilled to provide a high-octane soundtrack that let him reconnect with the excitementl of pretending he was piloting fighters as a kid.

With several earlier Star Wars games under his belt, composer Gordy Haab was ready to take on a new challenge: creating an iconic theme for the new character of Iden Versio, who has an incredible story arc in Star Wars Battlefront II. In our conversation, Gordy shared an exclusive cue of battle music that's never heard in the game!

Gordy Haab understands what makes John Williams' epic music for Star Wars unique. Haab wrote the OST for Star Wars Battlefront from Dice Studios and EA Games. As Gordy explains, there's way more to the music than just the familiar themes, and it was his job to discover the key to Williams' sound.
