Margaret Mitchell

  • It made it on the best seller list in 1936, the year it was published. Three years later it became an iconic film. Today, it has been re-evaluated for its unrealistic portrayal of slavery in the American South. Margaret Mitchell's historical novel, Gone With The Wind, continues to have a cultural impact.
