The 48-member Connecticut task force charged with making recommendations on reopening the state meets privately. It’s not subject to Freedom of Information laws.
However, Governor Lamont says they will be available for questions during his briefings every Thursday.
“So you know exactly what they’re deciding, why they’re deciding it – I’m making the decisions – but what recommendations they make. So you know exactly what we’re thinking about and how we came up with that.”
Lamont says the group works about 14 hours a day through the video conferencing app Zoom.
It’s expected to make recommendations by May 20.
