May 14, 2019

On Saturday, May 18, the Norwalk Symphony Orchestra caps off its season with a performance of Beethoven's Symphony No. 9! Kate Remington talks with conductor Jonathan Yates, who says the real challenge is to make the performance sound as though audiences are hearing it for the first time.

The performance features soloists Amy Owens, soprano; Ann Quintero, mezzo; Peter Drackley, tenor; and Matt Curron, bass; along with the Mendelssohn Choir of Connecticut directed by Carole Ann Maxwell.
