Alex Jones Must Turn Over Financial Records, Says Connecticut Judge

Jun 13, 2019

Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones is under court pressure to disclose his business activities in a case brought by families of the 2012 Newtown School shooting victims. Jones previously said the shooting was staged.

The families say Jones used the victims’ deaths to fuel profits on his website. He sells unregulated products he calls health supplements.

They filed a request this week to compel Jones to turn over detailed financial records. A Connecticut Superior Court judge says Jones could face sanctions if he doesn’t comply.

The families say Jones' comments torment them and subject them to harassment and death threats. Jones now says the shooting "really happened."
