Affordable Housing On Long Island Gets Boost From New York State

Nov 7, 2019

New York State will provide $300,000 to help preserve affordable housing on Long Island.

The funding comes from Attorney General Letitia James’ office and will go to the Long Island Housing Partnership to help landlords of distressed properties pay for repairs.

James says the money will help Long Island property owners maintain affordable housing options.

The grant is part of New York’s Landlord Ambassador Program, a network of non-profits that helps landlords get financing for building repairs and upgrades.
