CT Early Music Society

The Connecticut Early Music Festival has been going strong since 1982, when a group of early music devotees founded the Connecticut Early Music Society. The annual event takes place each June, and with the 2024 Festival set to begin Suzanne chatted with the Festival’s Artistic Director about what’s on the agenda, and how he came to lead this longstanding celebration of historically-informed performances.

Suzanne Bona is the host and executive producer of Sunday Baroque, a nationally syndicated weekly radio show of Baroque and early music which she originated on WSHU in 1987.
Julie Freddino is WSHU's program director. She also hosts Sunday Spotlight and produces Sunday Baroque.
