Deal Allows Citizenship for Some Illegals
A bipartisan coalition of senators has voted for a bill that would allow many illegal immigrants to become citizens, putting the Congress a step closer to overhauling U.S. immigration policy.
The plan would also strengthen border security, and it has the approval of the White House.
