Vice President Kamala Harris will come to Connecticut on Friday to promote the $1.9 trillion federal coronavirus relief package. She is expected to make a stop at a child care center in New Haven alongside Connecticut Congresswomen Rosa DeLauro and Jahana Hayes.

The relief package includes direct funding for child care centers and the expansion of the child care tax credit — a measure long pushed by DeLauro.

The trip is part of the Biden administration’s “Help is Here” tour to highlight how the stimulus plan benefits families.
