Election officials urge voters to drop their absentee ballots in the secure boxes in front of city hall before 8 p.m. next Tuesday.

The curbside voting at 200 Orange Street in New Haven will run Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., or by appointment on Monday.

Social distancing and face masks are required.

Earlier this month, the Secretary of the State’s office said it received the most complaints from New Haven voters, who hadn’t received their absentee ballots in the mail yet.

The Postmaster General said absentee ballots mailed this close to the election are not guaranteed to make it to Town Clerk’s offices to be counted by November 3.
