A video conference meeting of the school board in New London, Connecticut, was interrupted by someone using racial slurs.
The practice is called ‘zoom bombing’ — outsiders cut in on the line in the middle of a meeting on the conference call app Zoom.
An unknown third party interrupted the meeting for about thirty seconds, using the N-word and other racial slurs, according to the New London Day.
The interruption came as a youth activist group argued in favor of removing police from New London schools.
School board leaders said they would not tolerate hate speech and promised a full investigation.
