Conn. House Minority Leader Themis Klarides

Connecticut House Minority Leader Themis Klarides says she will not seek a 12th term in office.

Klarides was first elected in 1998 to represent Derby, Woodbridge and Orange. She was the first woman to lead the Republican members of the Connecticut House.

Klarides says her decision was based on a combination of personal and professional considerations.

Democratic House Speaker Joe Aresimowicz and Republican Senate Leader Len Fasano have already announced they're not running again.

Bill began his radio journey on Long Island, followed by stops in Schenectady, Bridgeport, Boston and New York City. He’s glad to be back on the air in Fairfield County, where he has lived with his wife and two sons for more than 20 years.
