Members of the Governor's Food and Horse Guard set up a mobile tent outside Saint Francis Hospital Tuesday in Hartford. Hospital President Dr. John Rodis said the mobile tent will be like another level of the hospital and will be staffed appropriately.

Here’s the latest on the coronavirus outbreak in the region:

Today, the National Guard will put up its third mobile hospital in Connecticut, a 25-bed unit at Middlesex Memorial Hospital.

Connecticut health officials say Fairfield County hospitals are nearly full. The state will look to set up mobile hospitals to build capacity.

Connecticut has over 3,100 confirmed cases, at least 69 people have died.

New York has nearly 75,800 confirmed cases, with more than 15,250 of those cases on Long Island. At least 1,550 people have died statewide.

The Army Corps of Engineers will build a $50 million hospital expansion at Stony Brook University to add 1,000 beds. Construction is expected to be complete by mid-April.
