On Friday, March 8th and Saturday, March 9th, the American Classical Orchestra kicks off a three-year cycle showcasing the fortepiano, a precursor to the modern pianos we so often hear in performance. Kate Remington talks with the ACO's music director and founder, Thomas Crawford, about the cycle, which includes an international competition and performances featuring legendary fortepianists Malcolm Bilson and Steven Lubin.

Born in Madison, Wisconsin, Kate Remington joined WSHU in December of 2000, and she's been WSHU's Music Director since 2002.
