Music Interview: American Chamber Orchestra's Music For Heroes

The American Chamber Orchestra, based in Fairfield, Connecticut, opens its new season on Saturday, November 5, with a program that includes Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto and Beethoven's "Eroica" Symphony. Kate Remington talked with conductor Christopher Hisey, who says pairing the music of these two composers was a natural fit because they both heroically overcame their personal obstacles.

Born in Madison, Wisconsin, Kate Remington joined WSHU in December of 2000, and she's been WSHU's Music Director since 2002.
