Music Interview: American Chamber Orchestra's Music For Heroes

The American Chamber Orchestra, based in Fairfield, Connecticut, opens its new season on Saturday, November 5, with a program that includes Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto and Beethoven's "Eroica" Symphony. Kate Remington talked with conductor Christopher Hisey, who says pairing the music of these two composers was a natural fit because they both heroically overcame their personal obstacles.

Born in Madison, Wisconsin, Kate Remington joined WSHU in December of 2000, and she was WSHU's Music Director from 2002 to 2023..
