Great Barrington, Mass., commemorates 50th anniversary of the death W.E.B Du Bois

Tuesday, August 27, is the 50th anniversary of the death of W.E.B. Du Bois. The African American political intellectual and civil rights pioneer was born in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, in 1868. A commemoration of his death in Great Barrington this Saturday and will include a guided tour of the Du Bois Homesite.
