Last year, 122 people on Long Island died from heroin overdoses. Lawmakers have labeled it an epidemic, and the Suffolk County District Attorney has started calling the Long Island Expressway the Heroin Highway. But despite the attention to the problem, things are getting worse, not better. Tim Bolger, editor of the Long Island Press wrote a story about the issue this week. He spoke with WSHU's Craig LeMoult.
