Audrey Mae: Free Live Music--Featuring Bluegrass and the music of The Beatles, Dylan and others
Seymour Library welcomes back the bluegrass musical quartet of Audrey Mae. Audrey Mae features the duet harmonies of Peter Winnie and Joe Delillo backed up by the stylings of banjo player Joe Lemeris and fiddler-mandolinist Sam McDougle. Audrey Mae, named for Delillo's mother--an Alabama belle, delivers a brand of bluegrass that is at times high octane and other times just plain lonesome. Despite being a generation apart, Winne and Delillo evoke brother harmony groups such as The Stanley Brothers or The Everly Brothers. The band will play a wide variety of works spanning The Beatles, Dylan, popular songs, and bluegrass.
If you have any questions about the program please call the Library at 203-888-3903 or email sgarvey@biblio.org.
This is a special event after hours. Circulation and public computers will be closed. The Library doors will open at 6:00 pm.
