Music Interview: The Norfolk Chamber Music Festival's 2018 Season

This season's Norfolk Chamber Music Festival begins on Friday, July 6, with a performance of music by Richard Strauss and Erich Korngold. The unifying thread running through this year's festival is the centenary of 1918. Kate Remington talked with the festival's music director, Melvin Chen, about why 1918 was such a musically siginificant year, and about the special concerts planned during the festival.

Born in Madison, Wisconsin, Kate Remington joined WSHU in December of 2000, and she's been WSHU's Music Director since 2002.
