From WSHU's daytime and evening classical programs, Kate Remington and Lauren Rico give you a heads-up on some of the best music they've selected.

Breaking into the Boys' Club

Clarinetist Sabine Meyer was the first woman to join the all-male Berlin Philharmonic in the early 1980's.  Since then, she's had a great career as a soloist.  Today we'll enjoy her performance of Mozart's Clarinet Concerto.

Born in Madison, Wisconsin, Kate Remington joined WSHU in December of 2000, and she's been WSHU's Music Director since 2002.
