CTRail On Track To Surpass 1st Year Ridership Goals

Connecticut Rail is set to launch its commuter service between New Haven and Springfield this weekend, but now, the Federal Railroad Administration says nobody can use bathrooms on those trains.

This week the new Hartford Line commuter rail will link Springfield, Massachusetts, to New Haven, Connecticut, and cities in between. For less than $16, commuters can catch more than 12 trains each day and travel speeds up to 110 miles an hour.

Being a commuter in Connecticut can be a challenge. Trains get delayed, moveable bridges get stuck, roads are riddled with potholes, and don’t get us started on the traffic.
