Colleges and universities around the country welcomed the class of 2013 to orientation programs this week. The programs are a chance to meet new friends before day one, often through camping or cultural activities. Yale University is one a just a few schools in the country who offer incoming freshman the chance to take part in a very different fall tradition - the harvest.
