WSHU Public Radio Group is a non-profit service organization whose mission is to be a unique and independent voice in our community.

By broadcasting exemplary NPR News, local reporting, classical music, and cultural programming in Fairfield, New Haven and New London Counties in Connecticut and Suffolk County in New York, we strive to:

Foster intelligent discourse
Contribute to an informed electorate
Preserve an important part of our culture
Allow our listeners to make informed decisions about their daily lives
Help us all understand the extraordinary times in which we live
